I would have to agree no tapping or taping (I think the OP meant tapping). Your dog needs to learn the meaning of the word "No" and tapping is not the solution. I used the pennies in a can to get her attention and then corrected Sophie Kate.

I try very hard not to use punishment on my Yorkie that I would not want used on me and tapping or taping my nose would be considered cruel so the same goes for my Yorkie.
