It is 8:15 am here, and leaving in another hour to take Carlo in to the Specialist for another Larger Tissue Sample from the nodule on his liver. THey have to knock him out and use the Ultrasound to hit the spot. Should have the results back early next week if it is Mast Cell Cancer and Lymphoma. His regular vet seems to believe it will be Mast Cell, and I will also get her thoughts on how to proceeed. I am realizing it may not be fair to Carlo to put him thru 3 more months of CHemo to have him around for an extra month or two. As his vet said, if the cancer does not get him, and we treat it, at his age, something else will go wrong such as heart or Kidneys. I can't believe I have had him almost 11 years. It seems like a few years. then again, Maxine is 13 1/2, but she looks like a Pup, and Carlo looks like me, an old man. Well, I do appreciate all of the well wishes. Whatever the decision, it will be well thought out, but very hard regardless.

I'll be thinking about you and Carlo this morning. Carlo is such a lucky boy to have you and Marge for parents.
