I do not understand how they can even be legal. I have really had to work on Ben's barking but have never considered a shock collar!! They do have one that squirts water. I did not want to use it either, but at least it would be less cruel than shocking the poor things! They also have those high frequency sound generators that DO work, although sometimes only for a short while at a time. The penny can, works about the same as the Anti-Bark sound things.

Mine seem to bark at every sound after I have been gone too long. I think it is a sign of maybe being less confident in their surroundings. After I have been home for a while, they settle back down and I don't see more than the natural barking.
