I was at petsmart today and in the toy isle. I overheard a conversation between a lady and the sales associate in the next isle and the lady was asking about shock collars because her dog "barks too much." I of course kept listening as the sales associate helped her, one of the associates questions was what kind of dog do you have and of course this lady owns a yorkie! She has a ten pound yorkie who barks and she wants to get a shock collar to stop him from barking. I was in complete shock at this! How could anyone even think of putting a shock collar on their yorkie is beyond me.. I feel horrible for that poor baby at home who's probably waiting for his momma to get home and give her kisses only to be put in a collar that is gonna shock him every time he does what is natural. I think she should have thought about what kind of dog she was getting before she got a yorkie and decided she couldn't handle it. Maybe she should have just gotten a cat?
