I was gone for no more than 5 minutes and I left them in the car with a security guard keeping watch. When I got back, June was cowering on the floor and Cash was enraged and barking on the backseat. When I got into the car, I heard a strange sound and looked up. A guy in the car next to me was making weird noises to get a reaction out of my dogs!! I gave him a piece of my mind, but I'll make another plan next time. I don't want them to go through that again...
So, even though they were safe and only left alone for 5 minutes (I could watch them the whole time), it was still a bad experience. I've never left them in the car when it was hot and I've never left them completely unattended. I think it is very cruel to leave your dogs in the car for a long time and I often see dogs, locked in a car, in the parking lot of a mall! I'm definitely leaving a note next time! |
That is my feeling too! I am leaving a note for sure now after reading the posts. I just wanted to make sure I was not overreacting. My husband reminds me that not everyone sees there pet like we do. |
