Well-bred Yorkies and Silky's are very easy to tell apart. I've actually really fallen in love with Silky's through my research.
Sometimes I REALLY think my Jackson is a Silky. He has a Silky body and face more and fits most Silky descriptions to a tee, he's 15lbs also ... your little one has a Yorkie face, IMO. But of course it's hard to know for sure. Really, odds are he's a Yorkie because Silky's are a lot less common. But who knows.
Silky's were created from Yorkies and Australian Terriers. |
Wow! These pictures are very similar. So the difference between a silky and a yorkie is really just size??? It appears from the pictures here, that the silky has bigger facial features than the yorkie, but coloring pretty much looks the same?
What are the differences???
