No, although they look alike, they are two entirely different breeds. However, they probably have some of the same breeds in them as those that were used to make the yorkie.
Did you buy from a breeder? Did they tell you that she was a yorkie?
I guess I don't see hw you would NOT know, if you buy from a reputable breeder. If you buy from a mill or a pet store, You never know what you are buying.
