i have never had a problem with selling them..i literally have a litter of yorkipoms now 3 and 4 yorkies..the yorkiepoms were are sold before they were born...2 to a lady that got one before and i had to CHOOSE btw 2 other families for the 3rd one... yet i still have yorkies available.
i look at it this way..if they didnt sell i wouldnt do it...doesnt really matter..the female is getting fixed and i have no more of her line..i thought about breeding one of her boys to another female but i havent decided that..i would like to continue her line because it has been so popular for me.
i had CKC to start with..if i didnt care would i have not moved on to AKC??? i am not against mixing but doest make me not care about the breed but i view it differently. im into pets..not show dogs..i dont believe that they should only be bred for shows..there are many people out there that want yorkies and i dont think its right to limit them because someone else thinks they shouldnt because they have kids or dont fit their questionaire or cant afford 3000.00 for a show quality yorkie...my reasons are different then the show breeders
there are others that agree with me but dont feel comfortable to post it |
And so what is the difference between a PET and a SHOW quality YOrkie? Ummm? What should it be? Very Little in my view. Both parents health tested, both parents very very good representatives of the breed and champions.
There is no excuse for poorly bred dogs, that are fosted off on the unsuspecting public, under the guise that they are JUST PETS.
There is no such thing as just a PET. Pets are deserving of the best of breeding practices, the best of health testing and genetic screening. The very best chance to live a happy and healthy life.
