I live in the south too and "hey" is pretty common, but I think it is more of a casual, informal greeting among "buddies or some family" and not used when requesting information from an acknowleged expert in the field. I would not address a teacher, mentor or other professional with "hey." Living in the south, I am also proud of the manners most show. When people know me but not well, ask me questions or even greet me, it is normally as Miss Debra or Mrs. Debra. I use the same salutation when addressing my peers, those wiser,or those in a position of authority. It is just a sign of respect.

Here on the forums, calling someone by their member name or their actual name is good. I don't think you meant it as a sign of disrespect but this could be a good learning situation. Since people are from all areas of the world, different generations, varied backgrounds and social realms, it is always a good idea to err on the side of caution to keep all feelings in consideration. I learn something new every day here too. I hope I never stop learning!

Yes i breed..i have AKC male, a AKC female, a CKC female and a Yorkiepom and yes i have bred the cross...i NEVER have enough of them...a lady that bought one before just bought 2..she loves the "breed". they are spoiled babies in her home.
the other two keep in touch with me regularity and are VERY happy ..they have always been sold before conceived.
the litter before...my first litter..only one stayed in touch..her baby is beautiful..cant tell she is mixed.
they sell faster then the yorkies...with almost the same price...i am not against most cross breedings, apparently..=)
