Kittens are so wonderful! We have five cats! All of them before we had our yorkies. Some of the cats play mamma with our lab and lick her face and clean her up! It's so adorable! She's so gentle. Our little yorkies are to hyper for them to do that! Bonnie our new little one chases all of the cats but they just run and ignore her! It is right about feeding them seperately! I always put the cats food up on the washing machine or a stool so they can eat in peace. And watch the litter box, the dogs do like to eat what's in there! ( I know ewwww!) Kittens are also fragile so watch your little fur babies, and be careful of the cat toys, they may not be great for the dogs. Catnip stuffing, tiny furry mice, the cats really don't get much of a chance to play with them, before the dogs steal them then chew them up! I think it's easier to introduce a kitten than introducing a cat to a puppy. So good luck and post lots of pictures!
Oh and good luck with your studies! It's been so long since I was in school to become an RN! It's so much work, I can remember I almost quit at least four times! Stay with it, it is all worth it in the end! I left the field for ten years to raise my kids (human kind1 lol) then went back with mother's hours! It's a career that has a lot of options! Good for you! All your little furbabies will relieve your stress!
