My physical therapist warned me today about Facebook. He was telling me about a woman he knows that posted on Facebook that she and her husband were eating at a local restuarant. When they got home, they had been robbed. You never know who reads your posts. |
I am so sorry this happen to you. I am so glad they did not take your dogs. My house was robbed and trashed 2 1/2 years ago so I understand. I was so blessed that they left my baby. They left the door wide open but she was so scared she just stayed on the couch. The cops said we were lucky they did not take her. They took $40,000 worth of our stuff. We too now have an alarm system but they have left scars in my life that will never go away. They stole things that can never be replaced like my grandfathers gold pin, my wedding necklace, and my sons baby ring.
Where I am going with this is the detective told us that 95% of all break ins are by someone who knows you. So, it is very possible that they could pull information from Facebook. Warn everyone you know but it is a terrible thing to go through. Please let me know if I can do anything at all for you.
Sylvia, I too have a GPS with home programed. I was told when I purchased it to never leave it in the car. They recommended a carry bag so we could take it with us when we had the car parked. I am so glad I listened to them.
