i got edgar a stick shaped kong. wound up getting him the red one. then i spread pb all over it, esp into the grooves. sometimes i freeze it. i leave it for him in the bathroom tub while i'm gone and he'll still play w/it after all the pb has been licked off. my reason for the shape is that i want to make sure i can clean that thing.
i have also seen suggestions of soaking it in broths and freezing it, then giving it to them. i may try that but i'm not sure how much messier that is than the pb.
