my yorkie is still young, but my cavalier had one double canine. it was not pretty, as well as it seemed uncomfortable. we had given him many things to chew, but that tooth was not at all loose, and they way they lined up, it actually looked like it would stay there. we got it out when he was neutered, and the recovery of the tooth was nothing. i was expected issues with food and chew toys, but he was fine, and he looks much better. i would get them out to avoid an additional area for bacteria and plaque to grow. if that tooth had remained, it would have def been catching all the food. good luck |
