Mine does the exact same thing! I thought she was just a weird
She thinks it's a game or something because often times she'll run a little, then stop and look back to make sure I'm following her.
I will have to try the running thing. She loves running/chasing, so hopefully that will work. I've pretty much given up on ever having her walk outside with me without leash.
