I usually fill Joey's kongs with canned dog food and then freeze it so that it takes him longer to get it out.

Alternately, I fill it with dry dog food with little pieces of cheese mixed in and cheese to cover the larger hole. Nuke it to melt cheese and let cool to harden cheese. Sliced processed cheese ends up especially hard this way which means it takes longer for him to get it out.

I prefer that he get less people food and more dog food in it, but that's just me.
