I am known for being the dog lady at work also but I am in good company. Our Pom is getting neutered on Nov 10th and dh is taking the day off to take him and pick him up . I can not take the day off as I have to take too many sick days for myself. Dh did not hesitate to ask for the day off, though wether or not he told them the reason is another matter.
I know he brags about his chi at work cause they tease him about not having "real man" dogs. They all have pit bulls, shephards, etc.
