Almost hate to admit this, but back in the 70's I thought I saw a UFO (not saying it was a flying saucer or from outer space, but it was clearly unidentified at the time). We were at the beach in the evening just after dark. Suddenly this object came into view with lights looking like they were rotating around the center. You could not see the aircraft shape exactly, just a little darker where it was and it appeared to be saucer shaped. (Could have been my imagination though as it was dark). It seemed to just show up, moved vertically, stopped and hovered, moved straight up and seemed to sort of vanish. Everyone was looking at it and we were all real quiet. I told my husband I thought it looked like a flying saucer. He thought that was silly but had no idea what we had just seen. Then from the hushed group of people around us a little boy said "That was a flying saucer!" Some laughed a little nervously and I said -- "See, even the kid knows what he saw!" But my husband never believed that was what it was. We learned about the VTOL, Vertical Take off and Landing Aircraft after that, and maybe that could have been one being tested. We were in a Navy town. But I have always wondered about it.
I do believe there is every reason to think somewhere in this vast universe and beyond there are other life forms more advanced than we are. God could well have other worlds going the same time as ours. So, I will not be surprised if we find proof of other worlds. I think it very probable. Too bad so many hoaxes have made true research along those lines almost impossible. Asfor these lights.....unsure. The daylight ones could have been the balloons but the night time pics in Texas could not have been balloons. Sicne they were reported by many, seems unlikely to be a hoax. Who knows....but wouldn't it be cool if we did get visitors! |
