I live in Tinley Park, IL and in 2004 there were objects spotted over our community. My son was a Sophomore in HS and was has on his way home from a friends house in a convertible that evening. I happened to be out in the yard when he got home watching the strange lights above us. He said that his friend and dad had watched all the way from Frankfort, IL as the lights moved around in the sky. We sat out on the yard for about an hour and talked and watch as they moved back and forth through the sky. It wasn't until the next day that I saw a report on the news that we were not the only one that saw them. If you Google search Tinley Park, IL UFO there are a ton of hits. There was not a noise to be heard and they moved randomly about and then back together. Here are a few links about the story. I'm not sure what it was we saw that night and it was never explained.
There was even a documentary on the History Channel it as well. They came to the Tinley Convention Center looking for people to interview.
