Smile not bad.

I had all 4 of mine done at the same time. I was completely knocked out. They even had to shave some bone and pre-warned me that they might have to break my jaw--they didn't thank god! Anyway I was in pain(not unbareable but pretty uncomfortable) the first day then it eased up, overall I was uncomfortable for about 3 days. Make sure they give you good painkiller drugs and you can sleep off the first day then use as needed after that. I ate ice cream and jello, yogurt and soup and oatmeal. Oh yeah you can't drink from a straw either. I was on liquids for a week then I could start slow, nothing crunchy and was almost 100% after 2 weeks. Believe me I am a total wuss when it comes to pain. The worst thing is after you eat you have to use this funny shaped syringe to rinse out that area and keep the stiches clean. Not really a big deal, you get to lose 5-10 lbs. and get some good painkillers!
