She has gotten better throughout the day. She's still not 100%, but I think she will be fine. We're going to her regular vet tomorrow. Her chills didn't last long, maybe 30 minutes or so. I took her temp and it was 99. Not sure if that is considered too low or not. I'm taking it again before bed tonight.
Thank you for your reply and prayers. She hasn't drank much water since this morning. I think her gums feel a little tacky. I'm taking her to her regular vet tomorrow. Her skin pops right back into place. She hasn't vomited or had diarrhea today. In fact, she has only had one BM in the past 24 hours and it was very small. It wasn't bloody to the eye; however, the stain on the pee pad looked like a little bloody. Not sure. Her temp this a.m. was 99. I'm taking it again at bedtime. Her body always feels hot to the touch. She has been lying around all day with no energy.....just not feeling like her playful and loving self. |
I use the inside of the ears for a temp check. I find that to be a bit more reliable than the feel of their bodies.
