 Rabies Reaction
2 of my kiddos reacted to their rabies vaccine. One got crusty scabs at the tips of both ears. Went away after a month or so. My little guy developed a bald spot surrounded by crusty skin. 9 months later he still has the bald spot with a some crusty areas. My vet told me it was a problem that they were having with the Fort Dodge brand rabies vaccine & they have quit using that manufacturer. My vet told me that the bald spot may be permanent! Fortunately, it's on his hip & doesn't show if you're not looking for it. |
