Yes, I know exactly what you are going through. So glad it was diagnosed so quickly.

Piccolo has Cutaneous Vasculitis caused from over vaccinating. It took over 2 months to get a diagnosis because she did not have a localized bump like that. She had a million other symptoms like itchy paws, runny nose and scabby ears. Just like your pup, she also had a secondary infection, but this was around her lips.

She was on Prednisone for nine months and something called Pentoxyfillone for over 2 years. Plus vitamin e and various creams.

So glad you were able to go to a Vet Dermatologist for your pup. Please be sure to give us updates.

Also wanted to add that Piccolo gets titers now instead of vaccines. The risk is just too great for her to have another vaccine.
