I worked a lot this summer, and I knew Macey was going to be really lonely. So I took her to pick out a kitty! I kind of considered him a toy for her, and boy did it work! They became best friends. They were always playing, and when they were done they would fall asleep in eachother's arms. It was so cute!
A cat was a very cheap alternative to buying Macey another Yorkie to play with, and it worked out very well. If you would be willing to get a cat, my advice is to have the two meet before you bring him/her home. I knew it would work out when I introduced them, and Macey began licking his head.
