Some people have to learn the hard way. My stepmother & Dad learned the lesson when the momma Rat Terrier died 3 days after giving birth, and they had to hand raise the litter of 6--not one of them died,...but it was very hard on them!
Also, they had to almost give the puppies away, the economy is so bad
