A few months isn't very long to wait if you are wanting another Yorkie. Besides, they are soooo much worth the wait.
Meanwhile give extra attention, arrange play dates w/ your friends fur kids, etc.
It sounds like Lucky really enjoyed his buddy for awhile. That is too cute.
