It seems like your BF takes his family with "a grain of salt" and doesn't let them take advantage. Follow his lead. You seem like a pleaser and you want to do the best for everyone, but you need to worry about you (and your BF and puppy
) first and foremost. You need to cope with your parents divorce and not worry about what his family is saying or demanding of you. You don't have to be "mean" just stick up for yourself and say you can't do unreasonable things or give them unreasonable things (which they seem to be asking of you an awful lot).
