Your right, the ice did not work... She played with it for a few minutes and then left it to melt... Steel going pee though which is a good thing. Vet tomorrow regardless if she drinks or not...
As of yet, still no drinking. She had rice and baby food this am, and a few pieces of Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Potato & Duck formula. The Vet said it is a very good brand, and my Cousin just happens to feed it to his dog... Funny she would not touch the Purina One Lamb and Rice I got her, but she went straight for the NB.
Soft stool today, not wet and loose like yesterday. Just wondering if it was the cookie or the chicken broth rice mixture...
Here in a while, I am going to go get a new water dish... Fingers crossed that she will drink out of it... I am wondering if she eats enough dry food if she will drink... Could be that she isgetting enough fluids in the rice/baby food mixture?????
Am really at a loss!!! Tried a plastic ice cream bowl, a traveling doggy dish, metal dog bowl... She will lick off my finger, the condensation off my water bottle... But it is more like a "Because I have to lick" than an "I am thirsty lick"... Ay Chihuahua this Baby!!! Enough to make me go bald!! Oh wait!!! I am bald!!! |
