 I'm so sorry that you're having such a bad experience with them. You've probably got a lot more people thinking and researching insurances now. Hopefully, no one else will have these headaches.

  Well, I'm still trying to get my refund out of Petplan. 
 
 
I emailed my cancellation notice to them on 9/30/10.  No response.  I called on 10/5/10 and was told that they had received my email and that refunds could take up to 3 days to process.  I hadn't heard anything more by 10/8/10 so I emailed them early in the day asking about the status of my refund.  No response.  I'd really gotten upset with them by then, so I emailed again on 10/9/10.  No response.  Finally yesterday afternoon I emailed them and told them that if they did not get back with me about my refund ASAP, I was going to file a complaint.  And guess what, I got a reply from them this morning - they're STILL processing my refund.  They insisted I pay first and last month's premiums up front on all my dogs - they withdrew the money within minutes of my enrolling with them.  But now it's been almost two weeks and they can't seem to get around to giving me my money back!! 
 
 
If this is any example of the customer service they provide when someone files a claim, I am glad I chose to go with a different company.  I will definitely not be recommending this company to anyone ever again.
