I am sorry for not responding sooner. I was actually responding to a person in a PM that was being helpful.
she was around 60 days.

heating pad
paper & pen
There crate was used because I have seen examples of this and so many different types of things to use. We had planned on using a large open tote for the whelping. The crate is her normal kennel.
