Good question lily24! I'd love to see everyone's comments on that one. I have two males, Bo, a 5 month old Yorkie and Woody, an 8 year old Schnauzer. They both are excellent dogs. Bo seems a little smarter than Woody, a little quicker to pick up on commands and obey. They both LOVE US!!! And they love other people. They are not shy when visitors come, as a matter of fact they think all visitors are here to see them! They are also good with each other. All these character traits have been a huge blessing. Maybe we just got lucky, I'm not sure. I haven't had a female dog since I was a teenager so can't say about them. But I wouldn't hesitate to get a female at all. The next Yorkie I get will probably be female.
