I don't know anything about the booties because we haven't used them but when we first moved into our house it was still a teeny bit cold and Bandit hated the hard wood floor-he was used to the completely carpeted apartment, so we got him socks with grippies on them... he couldn't stand them and would go crazy taking them off. It's a good idea in the cold snowy months especially because of the salt.
In the meantime, you might want to just leave a towel by the door. Good luck bootie searching
