This weekend marks the one year anniversary of Roxie coming into our lives. Where does the time go? When I first met her I didn't know if I was going to keep her or not. I had never had a dog before, and I was nervous about the responsibility. DBF was REALLY not crazy about the idea (he would rather have a cat), and it took him a while to warm up her.

I have to say that having Roxie has changed me for the better. We've had our ups and downs, but I wouldn't change a thing. I love her to pieces and now can't imagine life without her. She's also radically changed my views on pet ownership, and on animals in general.

I'm so glad I took that chance and let this little furbaby into my life!
