I do. But I've also found that even with double knots, some of the stuffing will come out if you try to wash the pillow. I prefer to use pillow forms to avoid that. Since you've already used stuffing, you could make your own pillow form by sewing a simple square (out of muslin, cotton, an old pillow case or what ever you have on hand) and putting the stuffing in that, then putting the fleece over that.
