I'm no expert or professional but my little Toby started doing that 2 1/2 weeks ago and through the advice of other YT'ers, they suggested he might have luxating patella (LP) and he does. Grade 2 in the right rear leg and Grade 3/4 in the left rear leg. There are other YT members that have a lot more experience and might recognize the symptoms. Best of luck and please keep ups posted. If it is LP, when you rub his leg he won't yelp or cry in pain (at least Toby never has.) I took Toby to the vet the very next day after he started limping and they put him on Rimadyl. |
