The dog is behaving better with the cat now. They've always played well together and the rough behavior left as quickly as it came on, who knows maybe it was a full moon! Our cat is not the brightest and even though she's larger than the dog she does not try to get away when the dog id too rough. Luckily Bean has settled down.
I recommend exposing Remy and the cat to each other slowly, either with a door or crate door between them where they can smell each other without having total access. When that seems to be going well, progress to exposure while Remy is leashed. Slowly build on that until they grow comfortable with each other. |
