I dont like this sudden spike in his blood pressure. He has no history of high blood pressure. Even though his rhythm is normal, he's having a LOT of palpitations. |

I just read your thread and I can't believe it. I was just in the hospital for the exact symptoms and the only in-hospital test that didn't come back "good" was my thyroid. I have never, ever had high blood pressure ... it did go up once while I was in the hospital but I was really mad when it did. I am not finished with all the tests but Medicare said all the others would have to be done outpatient. Yes, I am old, almost 30 years older than your Hubby ... he is so young to be having these problems. My thyroid, while within the normal range wasn't even a "hair" on the normal side of low [right on the line]. I have family history of that but also history of aneurysm. I was also having very rapid heartbeat and a dull ache in my chest. I have to have a heart cath in a couple of weeks to rule out blockage. It's all very scarry and being one who just doesn't get sick, had begun to get worried when I hardly have the strength to walk from one end of my house to the other! grrrr I am thoroughly disgusted and frustrated. Almost forgot, one of the MRI's I have had outpatient shows a cyst in my sinus which, they think, could be the reason for my dizziness and problems with my vision. I have an appointment 10/15 with the ENT doctor to address that. I am not posting this to whine ... I just couldn't believe my eyes reading about your sweet Hubby. Please know that I will have him in my prayers and you as well. I can only imagine what you are going through and if I can help you in any way, please do not hesitate to let me know. God bless you and your family.
