Its 1 step forward-2 steps back. Hubby did pretty good until this evening. His blood pressure is going up (169/97) and he's having a lot of palpitations. They gave him meds, but arent working. I think they need to increase them and see how that works. They were talking about discharging him and continue treating/testing as an outpatient. They said home health could come give him his injections in his stomach, but I dont feel comfortable with this with the new development of hypertension. He will only need the injections for a short period of time so why cant they keep him another day or two and continue to monitor him??
I dont like this sudden spike in his blood pressure. He has no history of high blood pressure. Even though his rhythm is normal, he's having a LOT of palpitations. |
