I believe Acana is a great food, but as you wrote, it doesn't work for every dog. Maximo gained weight despite my diligence in portion control and he seemed dehydrated.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with food. We were given a small bag of Orijen yesterday and I gave a couple pieces to Max as a training treat. After smelling and feeling Orijen, I wonder if something about Acana doesn't agree with Max. |
Is the kibble size of the Orijen the same as the Acana. I actually have to pound the Acana to break it up before I give it to them because it is too big.
