Your husband can't continue to have the irregular heart beats that you describe. Did they check his potassium? I'm sure they did, but high potassium can cause a rash and also very bad heart problems. I hope a cardiologist is seeing him - a good one - because he sounds like he is having lots of very serious problems, especially at 38 years old. |
Yes they are checking everything. What freightens me the most is I had a son (age 3) who had heart problems (different daddy, previous marriage). He had surgery to fix his heart, did fine, and the day he was supposed to be discharged he developed similar arrhythmia to what my husband has now. They monitored for a few days and decided to discharge him on medications. The morning of discharge, we were waiting for paperwork & the nurse brought in medications and he vomited, went into cardiac arrest and they were able to revive him but he died that night in intensive care when he went into cardiac arrest again. The similarities are giving me flashbacks and I keep finding myself grief-stricken all over again. I have more faith now than ever before, but nobody knows what Gods' plan is, but I pray that its not his time to go and this will pass
