I taught mine to use the stairs starting from the top and working our way down.
I would put them on the last step and coax them up on the bed with a treat. Once they got that down pretty good I would put them on the second to last step and just keep working our way down the steps until they were using all the steps. They all learned it very quickly and within a day they were running up and down those stairs.
