Levi is microchipped through resQ (petlink) and has had no ill effects whatsoever...plus it really does give me more peace of mind.
His brand has no registration fee and no annual upkeep fees. His was more expensive through a regular vet (about $50), but I managed to get my brother's puppy microchipped with resQ at a rabies clinic last year and was only charged $20.
