Milli does it too. I wonder if it could be a trait in small dogs to take food from the larger food source and move away so as to not get their food taken by other dogs? In a dog pack, the smaller dog would likely take a chunk of the meat source and move away from the larger dogs who were feeding. I don't understand, however, why these traits would continue to show up in dogs that don't have to compete for food. |
