This is good advise....I have both the step in type as well as the type that goes over the pup's head. Snick wears a XS in the step in vest type-which I prefer and he wears a small in the over the the head type. Snick is 4.5lbs
The over the head type is strange, the body portion is a little loose but Snick's head wouldn't fit into the xsmall head hole. I guess he has a big head???? Lol
