Just want to say thank you to 107barney who asked her trainer about this behavior; and I am posting it in case it might help another person.
She said that this is very common behavior. Dogs get excited because of the noise of the bag. She suggested putting treats down on the floor to keep her busy while I get the trash bag and do my best to keep the bag from making noise. So far, she has been better....as long as she has a treat to chase. |
