I have three females, Tara (13 year, 7 lb pek), Ally (almost 2 year, 3 lb 2 oz yorkie), and Tia (8 months, 4 lb 2 oz yorkie). All were spayed and had different experiences. Tara cried liked yours did the first day home, but got better fast with her pain meds. Ally only cried if we picked her up. You couldn't tell that she was spayed and had 13 baby teeth removed. I kept everything down on her level so she would not have to climb, jump, or anything. I'm thankful for soft pillows to sit on!!! lol Tia was spay and had two baby teeth removed a week and a half ago. She was very groggy the first day. The vet said not to give her meds until the next day also. As I sat beside her on the floor she tried to make sure I was there. Ally kept bringing her toys in hopes that she would play with her. She did moan a little when she tried to get up to follow me. I had to get my husband to take over just so I could go potty! The next two days were fine with her pain meds. The third day I didn't give them to her, but she seemed to need them again so I gave them to her for one more day. She is fine now. Good luck with your baby. Hope she feels better soon.
