I would go buy a flea dip because you dont want to put something else into his blood stream for another week most flea dips are safe because they just sit on the coat (at least from what i understand) if you dont want to use another chemical of any kind then go to the store and get lemons or lemon juice you can add the equivalent of 4 lemons to a gallon of water and use that as a flea dip it also works really well (but then your dog smells like lemons and that smell makes me gag)
