Lady has chronic skin staph infections due to her weak immune system (diabetes). Medication will only work for awhile, but the staph will come back as soon as we stop it or she becomes resistant.

Since all dogs naturally carry staph on their skin, topicals work best for us. I use a benzoyl peroxide shampoo and benzoyl peroxide cream (Clearasil!) on the lesions. I have recently tried colloidal silver which amazing results. I put it in a little spray bottle.
