I have thrown the sheets away!!! Mabel has had a bath(me too, a really hot one!) The mattress i must keep as it is a very expensive sleep number bed! I scoured it with oxyclean and hot water! The poor pitiful creature was not really very bloody and did not ooze on the mattress...
Thank God for small favors!! Still it has freaked me out none the less. I keep forgetting that Miss Mabel is really a cold, cunning, rodent hunter!( just one with a really cute fury face!!) What I really wonder is how she got that squirrel in the house and up the stairs past my hubby!? What am I saying he has "man vision" which means he wouldn't notice if she had drug a moose into the house!!! Once I had flamming red hair(dyed from brown) and he didn't notice it for 3 days!!!
