A five year old yorkie is not, by a long shot, old. She is either getting use to you or is sick. Have you had her checked out by your vet? Did you get vet records with her? Do you have big dogs that might scare her? Children she might not be use to? There could be numerous reasons. For some dogs, it takes time to adjust.
