Hey there, I havent been around much but I'm gonna try and be here more often. The word mutt is taken differently in so many ways. But for the most part it makes mixed breeds sound mundane, just so ordinary when to their owners they mean the world. My little Shorkie for example is not ordinary. She is outstanding, spectacular yet to most? Just a mixed breed. I more than welcome the question, "is that a mixed breed?" rather than, "is that a mutt?"
I LOVE Yorkies, but I love my little Shorkie, Jemma. See she has a name? I don't even call her a mixed breed. I just say, here's Jemma.
